Since their beginning in September, the huge bushfires raging in Australia has left nothing but horror behind. The worst fire season thus far has forced tens of thousands of individuals to go away from their homes and evacuate.

This was the case with the Zagami family (Family Shocked To Find Giant Bear Has Moved) from Wairewa. They realized it had been pointless to remain and risk their lives within the plan to defend their home because the bushfires spread towards East Gippsland, Victoria.

Also, leaving early is that the only safe option within the event of a bushfire, in order that they quickly took a couple of possessions with them and left. And once they did return, what they found was ashes. Their home was entirely burned to the bottom.

Matt Zagami said:

“It’s just bloody devastating … to possess everything removed in one hit. The farm is one thing, but we lost everything within the house — everything.”

However, while all their belongings were gone, this wasn't the case with the favorite stuffed toy of their pet, the retriever OJ.

7News Melbourne’s reporter Louisa Cheatley tweeted:

“‘OJ’ returned to his Wairewa home today that was destroyed by fire. He found his favorite stuffed toy within the rubble.”

Apart from the beloved toy that has survived the blaze, they also found Katie Zagami’s bridal gown untouched.

Yet, the loss of everything else was heart-wrenching. Zagami added:

“Every day we get reminders every hour we get a reminder of what we lost and what we haven’t got any longer, and that we have found it really hard to be here and appearance at it.”

Their home was one of the eleven ones destroyed within the area. Fortunately, there have been no victims nor seriously injured residents, because the community evacuated in time.

In a Facebook post, The Wairewa Fire Brigade wrote:

“Tragedies like these will bring out the simplest in people & unfortunately we've seen it bring out the worst during a tiny minority. The community is rallying together to wash up, recover [and] support one another. “

Until things return to normal again, a minimum of OJ found comfort in his beloved toy, as a logo of the very fact that each cloud features a bright side.

As soon as OJ saw it, he picked it up and began playing. His family took several photos of the reunion, and other people were pleased to ascertain the adorable dog twiddling with the favorite toy again.

Many other dog owners commented on the photos, showing their love and support, and a few of them even wrote that their pets would gladly share their toys with OJ!
