Dogs make our lives much more fun! Canines are our greatest friends, loyal and playful companions, able to love us unconditionally regardless of what.
Since they're so kind as to decorate up our days, it's sometimes our address to do something for them. All our dog needs are our time, and well..some treats..and rubbing their belly.
Oh, wait, I forgot..and sticks!
When outdoors, twiddling with sticks is perhaps the foremost enjoyable time our dogs get.
A 59-year-old dog owner named Andrew Taylor from Kaiapoi, New Zealand was cognizant of the facility of sticks, so he wanted to try to do something for all dogs that come to play within the park.
He made a ‘stick library’ in order that all dogs can borrow a stick once they needed one. His daughter Tayla explained:
Our dog Bella had become a stick lover because she ripped to shreds any balls or toys. While trimming the trees, my dad found himself with tons of dead branches and knowing from experience how hard it is often to seek out an honest stick, which the new dog park was opening soon, he had the thought that he would save them and put them in some quite box.
Her father sanded and cleaned the sticks well before putting them into a wooden box, engraved Stick Library- Please return.
His daughter explained:
I first shared the video to our Kaiapoi Residents Noticeboard on social media, where people thought it had been a very awesome idea and shared pictures of their own dogs saying many thanks or heading down and using the stick library.
Shortly then, I made an occasion asking people to satisfy me at the dog park on December 11 to celebrate the stick library and obtain some photos.
As people began to arrive, there was the disbelief of how simple the thought was, but it’s one among those ideas nobody had thought of. All the dog owners appreciate it as all of them have experienced the ‘good stick search’ which isn’t always fruitful, it’s a thought that just is sensible to them.”
Tayla added that the dogs instantly fell crazy with the Stick Library. About 50 dog owners attended the launch party, and one among them even came with a cat.
